I just got a pack of pods with the updated design that the Orion Q pods have and I have to say that this is a much more satisfying vape, with the possibility of actually getting a decent MTL for a pod system.

Exactly. If you look at DJLSBvapes’ video the Orion q is a simple regulated board. The complexity of the evolv board is much higher. Which is why it can output up to 40(?) and more importantly has Replay.

That is incorrect. The DNA GO has a very narrow optimal output range, which means it will fire at 40W only for a very narrow margin and is probably more efficient in a specific range. It does not mean that it won't fire outside of that range. A lot of us don't vape this above 15W so that is not...
