I may be wrong, as I don't own an MVP, but I believe it will only fire a coil that is 1.2 ohms or higher. You wont be able to sub-ohm with this device. If you want to sub-ohm you will basically need a mech mod. However, check out microcoils, you don't need the sub-ohm to get an amazing vape.

I just built a 1.4 ohm micro coil on my RSST using 10 wraps of 28 gauge on a 1/16 drill bit. Its doing amazingly well on a mech mod. I think you would be fine with a 1.5ish ohm could on your mvp at around 4.2 to 4.5 volts. Fyi, I'm also using cotton in "auto-dripper" mode. I love this build. It...

Look up Reos mods. It's called a bottom feeder. There's several different brands. Some swear by this style mods.

I may be incorrect, but I don't thing there is any advantage of one over the other. However, you will find many more devices that have 510 threading over EGO. If there is an advantage, I feel quite certain that someone with more knowledge over this will enlighten you. Good luck!

The jumping ohms could also be due to the center pin being pushed down and it's not getting a good connection. This could also ruin your coils. You could try pulling the center pin up a little and see how it goes. Good luck. If it's reading 9.9, that means the coil is done.
