yeah I was not aware of any such law that says I get x mins for y hours of work. As said if I don't get my job done I get fired end of story. They don't care if I work 30 hours or 90 hours. They just want to see my job done. I'm starting at a new place on Monday and it is hourly so we'll see...
Being a salary person I'm not sure if this the case. I think taking breaks was up to you. We didn't have a "bell" per se that said ok you can leave now. We just too breaks as we saw fit.
Thanks for the update looking forward to hearing the final results. I'm subscribed to this thread so hope someone will post the final results when they come out here.
This is a derail of my own post ;) When the finally banned smoking in all establishments; I was a bit upset. I thought it should be up to the owner of the establishment. Matter of fact there were several non-smoking bars in the area that thrived because they were non-smoking and the clientele...
That second link works and with e-liquid that would be about 15$ assuming I get cheap liquid. I'm not stuck on VV I just figured if it was only a small price difference I might as well get that. As I assume they will eventually upgrade to a vv device...just my opinion. If I were to start over...
Yeah I guess I never thought of charger but that should be included in a starter kit. Just looking for a very cheap way to hand out some ecigs that are better than gas station cig-a-like. So I'm probably looking at 15$ per person I hand them out to? Is that a reasonable goal to get it down to...
Off topic...but follow your companies policy...you don't want to get fired over such a silly thing but I hear it happens. Until I hear an official policy from my new company which I start on Monday I'm not going to do anything outside of the norms. I even plan on wearing a patch that I haven't...
I just saw some stacking of battery comments in this thread. There is no reason to stack batteries in a regulated mod. Use an 18650 if you want to use it long mode. Use 1 18350 if you want to use it in short mode. Stacking batteries was only suggested about 5-7 years ago when VV and VW...
You really shouldn't have to use protected batteries with a vamo. The chip set in the vamo protects you against over discharge etc. Get I high quality IMR with a 10-30 amp draw and you'll be fine.
In fact most regulated mods I think screw up when using a protected battery? More advanced...
Thanks for update. I live in midwest but still see this as possibly impacting me. I hope it dies a slow boring death ;) but if not keep us informed so we can help out.
Do you have link. Only thing I hate about that site is that it's hard to search for stuff. And when you do search it only seems to bring up 1/4 of their actual inventory. And price sort doesn't work unless you pick a category. Once you do a custom search sort is out the window. If they...
Yeah guess I wasn't really looking for that specific model. Was just trying to follow the post and when he starts mentioning figure 1 and figure 2 and there are no figures it's a bit frustrating. Maybe someone will make a more modern one.
Yep it only takes one bad apple now days to ruin the entire bunch. I guess it was as true back then as it is now but just seems more pronounced with everyone bending over backwards to accommodate one stinker that yells real loud.
Again I guess it depends on if I were paying them per hour or paying them to get a job done. I can see how abuse on the per hour thing would be abused by a lot of employees. If I was paying them a salary and there job was to get X done am not sure I'd care...at that point I actually see less...
I also did construction in my late teens and early twenties. I worked my ... off and everyone knew it. That was probably the hardest job of my life. Do they really give you scheduled times to go to the bathroom now days? I guess back then you'd just go take a leak behind the dumpster ;)...
I'm a programmer but I worked in the restaurant industry in my teens and twenty's. Your post is exactly my point on some previous topics. Get your job done and do your job well and no one cares that you are working x hours with y amount of breaks. If you are doing your job and doing it well...
Pretty much how it was out my old job. Don't make a scene and your ok. If you blow clouds well you may offend someone and then the axe may be coming out of the shed.
Not sure either...kind of why I wanted a discrete way of posting company x says it's ok or not ok. I'd assume if they came out and told everyone this is the policy...that at that point it is public info though.
I'm looking for maybe a 300-700 mah battery that offers VV. It's not for personal use but I'd like to give out to people that are smoking for trial. I don't want to give them a disposable or a crappy cig-a-like...looking for a decent but very cheap vv batery to give out to get my smoker...
