Incorrect, the t3s heads are backwards compatible, so that's not the issue. The head was shorted out so it would've done the same thing in a t3s. The t3 is the model that builds the head into the base, not the t3s. Pt/evod heads won't screw into the tank on a t3s, but the reverse is fine. In...

Built a micro coil today, 28 g kanthal, 2 ohms, 10 wraps on a paper clip. Using a cotton bed instead of a standard wick system. I've read this is equivalent to a subohm vape experience. Huge freaking cloud, great flavor, good th.

is the coil wire making a contact with the post after the connection spot? also residual juice may cause the popping . what wicking material are you using ? what gauge wire for the coil?

replaced the top wicks with the cotton, big improvement. and the juice didnt turn a burnt funk after an hour like it was before.
