Yeah, take the end cap off. It will help you to see if it is nice and saturated. Push the threaded end in first into the condom. Leave it standing vertical so that it stands on its own. Should be good to go shortly after!- SteamSpot

If battery life is a concern, definitely look to the vamo or SID. The Zmax is much like the SID in function, but I've had 2 Sigelei ZMAXs and both have had AWFUL threading. Basically, the condom method is this: Remove the condoms from the packaged carto. Then fill one of the condoms with your liquid. Then gently push the carto into the condom so it absorbs the juice in to the polyfill and such. Let it sit for a minute and make sure the carto is good an saturated...- SteamSpot

It all depends on you here. The innokin VV will get less battery life, but it's more compact and easy to carry around. Between the SID and Vamo is tougher: Both do very similar things, but I'd probably go with the Vamo. The SID's menu system can be a pain to navigate until you get used to it...- SteamSpot
