My wife has been using the ft clone for several months without a hitch. I recently ordered a new one because she dropped it and put a hairline crack in the tank but doesn't leak yet. In some ways I prefer the taifun to the kayfun or russian which I use both of, but they both offer a warmer...
lots of good info here,.. my insulator burnt and was giving me a terrible plastic taste like a pro tank would.
about 200 pages back someone used a credit card cut up to make a quick fix, tried it and it works good.
I love my protanks and other BCC tanks I have. I have found once the level gets to about half way you cannot let it sit on its side. this allows one side of the wick to be out of the liquid which in my theory relieves the vacuum effect the tank has on holding the liquid in the tank.
I have...
never smoked in the house and very limited in my car. Working on computers for a living you can see what the tar does.. when a laptop heatsink is clogged up with black gunk that will not clean off it makes me truly wonder what their house looks like.
I recently had to go to the "smoke shack" at work due to 30* weather and rain (first time in 5-6 months) and I litteraly thought I was going to be ill from the stench in there and worse than that I carried the smell back inside with me the people who site around me commented on me stinking...
another good one to look at is the MVP v2 I know you say VV/VW is not needed but either way the mod can be had as one of the cheapest on the market (got my starter kit MVP's for $39.99)
the battery life KILLS my vamo and Sigeli with a good 2600mah 18650 installed. I can get 2-2.5 full days...
the juice pretty much gels up as it gets cold mainly due to the VG. agree with everyone else he is going to have to find an inside pocket or the lanyard idea to keep it warmer.
what are you making coils for?? replacement coils for a atomizer or for a rebuild-able.
for my protank coils I run a sewing needle into the wick longways and wrap the coil directly onto it. I find this MUCH easier than trying to wrap a coil then feed the wick through it. the needle will...
Just going to throw this out there, both of the MVP v2's I recieved yesterday have the on/off switch flushed and it will sit upright with no wobble at all..
oh and I am loving the small size and convenience. the one thing that annoyed me was the internal battery and thats what I like most.
I picked up a RSST yesterday, as my second attempt with Genesis (first was a chobra that went in the trash). I have built many coils rebuilding the protank coils and my RDA so that is not a problem.
where i am having an issue is the dry hits. I have done one with a doubled over piece...
