What resistance are you running at? The MVP2 will fire to down around 1 ohm or so. It also could be that the 510 pin on the MVP needs to be pried up to make contact with the connection on the atty. What is the error message on the MVP?

I run hot water over, under, and around my attys. Let them air dry and boom! The mech mods I have I just wipe clean with a damp vaper towel. To remove patina or tarnish I use Nevr Dull. Hope this helps.

Did you thoroughly clean the tank and all parts before using? Sometimes there remains some "stuff" left over from the manufacturing process. Maybe you got a bum coil? What voltage are you running the Spinner at?
