    These batteries are for mods, like the protege. The regular 510 only takes 510 batteries, unless you buy a mod for it, like the protege. Sorry, just love this thing :wub:

    I have noticed this as well, the ones with the indent have MP stamped on them(on the outside black part) and the led seems to be a little dimmer than the other kind.
