My suggestion is... keep your lavatube... and pick up whatever else is suggested here that catches your fancy. The vast majority of ecig batteries including the lavatube don't require a specific vendors gear, there is no reason to trash your lavatube because you're sick of dealing with...

Take the silicon seal above the wicks off an old atty for the evod, flip it the opposite way of the current seal and slide it down the atty shaft. See the picture in this thread. It instantly 100% fixed the problem for me, but makes getting the base back on require a bit more precision.

Thanks for this thread, it had exactly the info I needed. As to the last poster, this is a fairly common issue (and mentioned earlier in the thread actually) generally caused by tightening down the evod onto the battery too far. Try loosening it up some and see if that remedies your problem.

I'm perfectly fine with developing my own flavor for it as long as it's good, that particular one is just... really really good, or at least of the other 3-4 PC verisons I've tried, it is by far the best. may need some rum come to think of it... hmm... Maybe i'll pick up some more pineapple...

It depends greatly on the flavor in question, if you're talking say cinnamon, 1-3% is probably enough. If you're talking coconut you're likely looking at 20-25%... it also varies between different makers of the flavors. Start low... you can always add more.

I've never used them but was looking a bit at them online since my mother also wants a cigarette analog, but check out the "vision nano" they're 1ml and about as compact as you can get with out staying on carts.

That's pretty cool, I know some scuba divers (I'm certified as well) who have waterproof cases for their analogs and this might be a great replacement for them since several of them have said dragging a pv near salt water would a very bad plan. Nifty stuff.
