Hey i picked up a copper clip, drilled the hole and stuck it on that simple. I rotate the clip over the original hole and hey presto, airflow control. The screw keeps it tilted of surfaces and I kinda like it this way as forever knocking the bloody thing over when its up right! Cheers x

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

Best method I find is cotton surrounded in 1 turn of 400oxidised mesh, just don't make the cotton too compressed. I'm gettin to know this beast, it is a really, really good vape. I got my air hole drilled out big, but modded an airflow control. My advice is if you want to stay with throat hit...

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

After much fiddling around I'm at last settled on this arrangement - draw tube mod, silver plated screw, top cap insert, copper band airflow control. The screw adjuster at the back kinda acts like a seat when I put it down, will leave as is i reckon..i

Silver plated brass is way more conductive than stainless steel, I think close to x6 the centre post upgrade is worth a buy. Check out material conductivity on google, u'll see what I'm on about.

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

Just to say the cap reducer insert arrived today and it certainly does what its supposed to do, reduce the time it takes to fill the chamber. This was something that bugged me from day one, i'm not a fan of having to wait a few secs to get a half decent vape and it just seemed to under perform...

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

RSST with sweat band lol !! I over drilled the air hole, now i can adjust simply by twisting the zip tie hole over the over drilled one. Shame about the bit that sticks out at the back but what the heck it's a crazy device anyways!! Cheers

Food for thought here on over drilling the air hole. Came up with an idea of using a small jubilee clip over the top cap that will cover the air hole. Lets say you drill different sizes of holes around the circumference of the jubilee clip from 1mm and go up in spaced out increments to 1.2mm...

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

Hi, so far I have not needed to change it after approx 1 week. The mesh does a good job of holding it in shape and preventing it from possibly burning. When you want to change liquids just power through the old one, don't bother to try washing out. When you heat the coil u can see the saturated...

    SmokTech RSST Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer

Hey just to put this out there... After trying loads and loads of wicking setups I finally came down to 2 really good ones 1: SS wire wick 7x7 with the centre core removed, 2: 400 mesh wrapped once around a good sized cotton centre. At present the cotton /mesh setup is unreal, I use .5 ribbon...

    Stainless Steel mesh, Oxide discussion.

Hey I got my rsst down to .7ohms using 2 mm ss wire wick (7x7), .5mm kanthol ribbon wire on a 2/3 wrap and a couple of extra 3m washers under the pos and negative posts to further reduce ohms. It vapes like a beast, don't wrap too tightly and didn't bother boring out the air hole and it totally...

Smoktech RSST RBA – No Throat Hit, Poor Vapor, What am I doing wrong?

I also rebuilt a vivi nova tonight with ribbon .5mm kanthal wire, 4 turns, coming out at 1ohm and can't say enough about it. It's vaping like a Trojan and for a ten pound tank it's now more like, well something a lot more expensive...

Smoktech RSST RBA – No Throat Hit, Poor Vapor, What am I doing wrong?

This is how I got my RSST smoking like a BEAST - set up at .7ohms Get a stainless steel 2 mm wire rope wick (7x7) and .5 mm kanthal ribbon wire, oxidise for safety Put a small 3mm washer under the pos and negative connections - this will further drop resistance Put a wrap of ss mesh round...

    Burnt taste

I had these to start, you gotta keep dunking them when they get low on juice, I mean tilt em upside down quickly before you take a toot. That way you keep the wick wet near the coil at the top. Once u get a burnt taste u may need to replace the head or tank cos uve effectively scorched the tiny...

What mg did eveyone start out at?

Started out on the Hangsen range, RY4, the likes of any tobacco 18mg flavour. Soon moved on though to cocktails ( i like a bevvy) TW sex on the beach or a blue Hawaii pretty tough to beat during the summer!
