Ok now I'm tempted. I really like the looks of the pico. Reminds me of simple carto tanks. Right now I'm really loving the Le Magister and fiddling with a Nextiny. Guess there's not much to lose on a clone. Is filling this thing a pain with bottles without needle-like tips?
Really digging this setup. Anyone know how this compares to an eGrip with the RBA base? That's currently my pocket setup but love the idea of a slimmer tube mod. The extra wattage would be nice as well. Sometimes I wish the eGrip could give me 5-10 extra watts
I've tried a couple builds on my goblin so far. I've settled on a 10 wrap 28gauge @ 2mm (~0.9). I did manage to fit a twisted 30g 2.4mm coil in there (pretty much the limit) but it seemed to block airflow and vaped way to hot for my preference. The sweet spot for me (at least with my current...
Just got this guy in. Nomad RDA clone. I've never even heard of it until I saw this clone come up. I believe it's from Japan. The design looked interesting enough for me to give it a try without reading anything about it. Basically the airflow comes in from the side of the base into a hollow...
I've owned or used most of the RDAs mentioned and the "best" flavor would have to go to the neovapetek Venturi. The veritas held the top spot for me for a while but the Venturi edges it out. Both have quirks due to design but the Venturi is closer to your 3 post rda making it easier to build on...
Hi there, I saw you post a picture of your KFL and petit gros. I was wondering if there was any blockage of airflow since the tank sits recessed in the mod?
No you leave the fill hole open just like a mesh setup otherwise it won't wick properly. I don't think you can have dual wicks on the sat22 anyway because the chamber is just big enough for the wick and negative post.
Yeah, I think it's just preference. Btw, are you getting a lot of heat on...
I've been lung hitting for a year since getting into rda's and thought the same. A venture into gennies and higher end drippers with tight draws now has me preferring mouth to lung. I even started rebuilding my kayfuns I haven't touched in a while. One thing that lacks a bit on a lung hit is the...
Haha, probably not a clone but their own version of an auto dripper. I hate the logo as well. As for 1.5, it'd be odd if they changed the holes without testing it?
Is it possible to use the hcigar topcap with your standard nano kit in either Kayfun? I'd imagine with that low profile topcap and a standard nano kit it'd be pretty short. Dripper short. I wish I could buy just the topcap. Looks shorter than even slammed aftermarket topcaps.
My favorite veritas build is a single vertical 24g 3.0mm coil at 0.5-0.6. Just enough wick to touch the bottom of the well. It certainly matches my Origen v2 which I've built probably 4-5 dozen times. One downside to me is the afc doesn't work that well as far as control. If I pull the cap off...
I still tilt with mesh. I haven't been able to build a mesh wick that can withstand my chain vaping. Especially since I take so many damn puffs at a time on the sat22. I did play around a rayon/mesh hybrid wick and it seemed to hold up without tilting. Will try again soon.
We'll have snow blind test stock vs drilled out :D. Even though it's a clone I'm too hesitant to drill it out since I'm okay with the draw. I'm thinking somewhere between stock and 1/16 might be good for me. Slightly cooler vape perhaps.
That's exactly how I set up mine with mesh except I used...
Do you feel like the flavor is less concentrated with 1/16" holes? I was thinking 1mm may be a perfect bump. Just enough for a little more air/vapor but not too much to make it airy.
Snow blind, another advantage of having a rayon wick I realized today is it doesn't retain heat like mesh and...
I have the tail thin, the portion in the wick hole fills it loosely but easily glides, and the portion in the microcoil is snug but doesn't snag. When the tank gets lower I have to tilt. But I tend to tilt anyway. Anyone using rayon without tilting?
This occasionally happens to me even in rda's that hold ~1ml. But then I do have lower sub ohm builds 0.4-0.7 in them so that's a lot of heat. Also happens in my genesis attys with ss mesh. Very quickly too since the mesh retains heat and is sitting right in the liquid. Faster in some juices...
Curious to see what the changes are too. I'm not finding any cons other than size of this tank (preference). It is huge though. Looks like a monster even on my tiny 4nine in 18650. A little top heavy in smaller modes.
As far as performance it vapes just like a tobh to me but with a cooler...
Definitely have to rebuild it to get its full potential. Those prewired coils are no good. My favorite flavor build on it is around 0.45 with the 2nd afc hole but that's too low for a provari. However I'm sure it'll be a big difference just going to a cotton microcoil build.
