A idea that came to me after reading OP is a 1590b with a triple 18650 sled and a raptor 120w board. You'd only need two of the battery slots for the raptor and you could use the other one for a sqounk bottle, though it would probably be a squeeze to get it all in there.

I've got a Smok Scar,it has posts with holes, will do dual coils, only thing is the screws are just knurled to tighten with your fingers not a screwdriver, but i'm sure you could easily replace them if needed. It's available from many suppliers for $10-12.

I'm pretty new to vaping too, i started with an ego style battery and after reading lots of reviews and forums i got an Innokin iTaste 3.0 VV/VW 800mah battery and it is awesome. It really is a great way to check out VV/VW, and it's still the small size like an ego, which i like.

They also sell DIY supplies in reasonable(smaller) quantities, so I'm considering trying some DIY myself.
