My ZNA50 clone from elev8 seems to be doing quite well. Flush mounting of all attys I've tried (except that tugboat clone won't screw in at all), and no functionality issues. It's pretty heavy, and the threads are not the smoothest by any stretch, but I'm pretty satisfied for ~$80.

REALLY itching to get my ZNA50 in the mail. It shipped from the Brooklyn Post Office last Saturday, and didn't leave the Brooklyn USPS sort facility until this morning.

Just got mine in the mail today, but I guess it's going back to the vendor for a replacement. The top cap/inner sleeve only had one slot milled into it, leaving no airflow options for a dual coil setup. Bummer.

I've had good success with 28 gauge with about 9 wraps on a 5/64 drill bit (dual coils). It's come to about 0.8 ohms and seems to work quite well. I just run cotton straight down from each side of the coil so that it just touches the bottom of the well. I like it so much I picked up another...

I don't think there is any cause for concern and I don't see any proof of Elev8 lying in what you've stated. It seems you've got a weekend plus USPS processing time there. USPS doesn't scan items into their system as soon as they receive them. I've shipped things out myself where I've handed it...

I ordered my red clone on 4/15 from Elev8 (order #400) and am patiently awaiting an update. It seems to me that they're doing all they can to get them out as soon as they're available, so I'm comfortable waiting it out.
