Well the only places I could find this unit online (1 battery, 1 clearomizer) have a price (33.99 - 39.99) which is comparable to a quality starter kit with 2 batteries and 2 or more clearomizers. You definitely might need a higher mg liquid. That wasn't my experience, but everyone's experience...

How do you know if it is bad? That is one piece of info I have not ran across yet.

I had the samr experience after a few days with a cheap clearomizer. Turns out it had a tiny crack at the base of the clearomizer just above the metal ring. I had put smarty tarts in it and it cracked the tank. Trying to hit it was just as you are describing.

I dunno...great question though. I went with them on advice from a veteran here because WL is out of all mg nic & their pricing was much better that the others recommended. The reviews on it were good. I planned on getting the nic test kit and verifying it for myself though. :)
