I have been using micro coils in my kayfuns for months now and they work very well. I stay about 1.2 - 1.7 ohms. All I have is 28 kanthal. My questions are which are better for wicking and vapor/flavor production. 2mm with more wraps or 3mm with less wraps. Is more cotton inside the wick...

Welcome. If you can build coils I would recommend you try a Kayfun. I never looked back after trying one. Easy to build and at 1.5 ohm great flavor.

Nine wraps on a piece of coat hanger wire (2mm) of 28 should get you very close to 1.8.

Really, the semovar menu is fine with one button. Once you set to volts or watts. push 4 times to lower or push 5 times to raise, 6 pushes checks ohms, push again to see battery Easy peasy!

To answer your question, yes, more wraps will increase your ohms. I would go one more wrap at a time until you find what you like. Dan

I coil my KFL at about 1.5 ohm and at 8 watts it is perfect for me. Options are plentiful with the MVP.

:D The wife and I like to travel a lot. We buy t-shirts at places we visit, Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore etc.. I always had to have one with a pocket, for smokes. Not any more, benefit is the nicer shirts don't have pockets. Yea me.

Well I do it just a bit different. Add juit to tank. Let it wick for 5 min Take a draw or three without firing to prime wick better. Turn voltage/wattage down Fire and adjust as needed
