DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Thanks for that info BuffaloGuy! I appreciate all that you have done with this method and the info you have/are sharing. I have not done any more testing yet after the 135 degree test (wife is keeping me busy around the house on my vacation, plus I am addicted to Tiger Woods Golf on my PS3). I...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Personally, I inhale very little vapor into my lungs. I vape like I would smoke a cigar. I fill my mouth with vapor and then slowly release it through my mouth and nose. This allows the nicotine I so crave to be absorbed through my salivary glands instead of my lungs (which I have read that...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

The reason I left the caps off on half the bottles is to do exactly what you say the reason is for, to quickly eliminate any alcohol/odor. Killing two birds with one stone was my thought process. But I do realize that in doing so that the breeze created by the dehydrator may drop in some...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Yeah, I am a casino dealer in Las Vegas (past 30 years). I deal nearly every game ever offered in a casino. I do go back to Iowa as often as possible because all of my family still lives there. I noticed the GMO corn signs in the fields years ago and the desolation of the small farms. "It ain't...

    Flavor West DIY flavor review

I think the confusion as to whether or not MBV waters down/thins out their juices is because they offer pre-mixed juice at multiple different PG/VG ratios and when getting into the higher VG ratios they also offer the option to have distilled water added in to help thin out the syrupy viscosity...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

I think that most all flavorings have mystery ingredients (unless of course we get the flavoring manufacturers to reveal their recipes). The flavoring vendor I use has FDA approval for all of their flavorings as well as being kosher approved.

Thanks Danny. I came in late in the discussion and haven't had the time to go back and read the post(s) about the difference between comparing temperatures by we2Rcool. I have now done six bottles at 135 degrees, 2 at 4 hours, 2 at 6 hours and 2 at 8 hours, with 1 capped and 1 uncapped for each...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Okay, reading that 120 degrees may not be as good as 150 degrees, I think that what I am going to do is split the difference and test the six bottle heat steep at 135 degrees. This may be the route to take especially for the long 8 hour steep. I will also have a control bottle that will not be...

"peppery" like maybe "capsicum" would be? I have capsicum but haven't mixed tried it in anything, but it definitely has a hot/peppery smell to it, so much so that it is very overpowering when the flavoring is uncapped.

I will try out 120 degrees in a dehydrator sometime this week. I plan on doing one flavor in six different clear glass bottles, 1 capped and 1 uncapped for four hours, six hours and 8 hours, with a vigorous shaking every two hours. Will let ya's know how it turns out.

I have now used the dehydrator on over 20 different flavored juices, all in 15ml glass bottles and all mixed at 18mg 50/50 levels. I have not yet tasted all of the flavors because when I taste juice I usually vape a full 2.5ml tank through the course of one day so as to give the taste of the...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Over the past few weeks I have read about using crock pots and dehydrators for heat steeping, so I have tried both now. I first grabbed the wife's crock pot (before someone mentioned a dehydrator) and put in five 15ml glass bottles (I use ONLY glass in all of my mixing) and set the unit on...

I use "oral syringes" in 1ml, 5ml, 15ml and 30ml sizes. The 1ml syringe measures in .1ml increments. The benefit of using oral syringes is that you do not have to use a small needle to draw through nor do you have to break off any needles and dispose of them. The tips are blunt and even and...

Mount Baker Vapor (MBV) flavor'ings' Recipes

I have mixed the Jamaican Rum and my wife loves it (which is the FIRST flavor she has liked other than a combo she puts together of Menthol, Black Ice, Wintergreen and some cheap Chinese store bought tobacco). I mixed it at 15% flavoring 18mg 50/50 with 5% DW (using the eJuicemeup calculator)...

I make juice at all nicotine levels between 0-18% for friends and relatives (about 20-25 people). I personally vape at 18% nic. As for PG/VG, I started out at 65/35 but am leaning towards 50/50 with 5%DW and may even go to 20/80 with possibly up to 10%DW (I use the DW to thin out the high VG so...
