Granny, where in Alabama are you? There are a bunch of great vape shops here and frequent vape meets where you can meet people to help with any questions!!
My other half vaped a tank of Pluid through his Kayfun then tried to give it to me. I'm not a fan of black licorice/anise in general and this stuff is seriously strong. Boiling didn't help and neither did a PGA soak. Only thing that got most of the flavor out was an overnight soak in coca-cola...
Some places make drip tips with metal centers and plastic/resin/acrylic outside to provide the shape. A little more expensive but well worth it according to my other half. :)
I wanted a small mod that I wouldn't have to fiddle with too. My honey got me a CoolFire 1 and I couldn't be happier with it!! Plus we don't get our batteries mixed up since all his stuff uses the giant 18650s and mine uses cute little 18350s. : )
If you can find a Vape meet or 2 in your area, there's usually a trade table. Take the liquids that aren't necessarily your 'thing' and swap out for something else that smells good. :)
I have a giant roll of heavy duty duct tape that I swiped from DH's tool cabinet. Small piece of that with name and date mixed works well. It doesn't seem to leave sticky stuff on the 10 mil LDPE bottles but Sharpie ink wipes off with VG.
My honey and I switched simply to save $$. Then he started watching videos on rebuilding attys and I found DIY. As a side bonus, we are growing a social life too thanks to the vaper groups here!!!
My other half put a black jelly bean flavor in one of his iClears and finished it all off, but now the tank is flavoring the new juice with anise. Is there any way to clean this out, or do I have to go find a new tank? He's just not happy because it really doesn't go well with his Tribeca...
There was another thread (I apologize for not remembering which forum) that said a quick test could be done with aluminum foil and a stove. Foil on burner, heat it, drip some solution on it. If there was gunk left over, it would mess up the coils. If not, good to go.
I'm pretty much just starting with the DIY, so I'm certain that i'm doing something wrong....all my juices seem to be losing all the flavor when they sit for two weeks or so. I started out with a coffee/vanilla/cotton candy mix that was rich and silky and basically tasted like vanilla coffee...
For getting that smoke smell out, I used that car freshener spray Ozium in the regular scent. Worked wonders and my non-smoker mother can't even smell anything anymore with her bloodhound nose. :)
This thread is a great example of what I LOVE about ECF. Everyone is nice........no flaming, no trolling. I'm sure there are infrequent instances but this still feels much more friendly than any game forum I've ever been on!!
Is there any place that might have information on what all is needed for starting an e-juice business? I know I will need a business license, but what about a tobacco license or permit? I have so far been unable to find much online and am working off what a couple B&M's have shared with me...
I'm not so great with stories but I DO want to try being a part of this community. :)
Got an ego kit thingy from a local B&M on 8-31-13 (still have the receipt) and really haven't even wanted an analog since. Had to finish off the pack of course, but that was it. I had tried a couple...
Yes, definitely a TON of info. I started reading here because I wanted to learn how to DIY flavors. This website is now threatening to completely replace my video game addiction!!!
