    going to try one

That's what I did too. Got 2 Smok Pyrex DCT tanks and some F16 cartos. Figured before I invest in an IBTanked I should make sure that I like carto tanks. There's a bit of a learning curve with having to prime the carto, but it's not rocket science. I've been vaping for 3 days now and love it...

    Coil Ohms Question

One difference is that it'll take less voltage to get the same wattage on a lower resistance coil. A 1.8 Ohm coil would need 3.8V to get 8W, but a 2.4 Ohm coil would need 4.4V.

Suggested Volts and Watts for iTaste v3

Also, just to clarify something: with a VV/VW device, you cannot set the voltage AND the wattage. Wattage is directly related to the voltage and resistance; so you can set voltage OR wattage. For a 1.8Ω coil, setting the voltage to 3.7V will result in 7.6W. If you set the wattage to 7W, the...

    Newbie! Juice question.

Nicotine liquid consists of nicotine in a PG/VG base. You can get nicotine liquid in various concentrations from 0 mg/ml up to 100mg/ml (or more) and various mixtures from 100% PG to 100% VG. When you mix your own liquid you usuallly start with a nicotine liquid which is higher in concentration...

    Airline announcements.....

I guess the good thing about this, if there is one, is the fact that they feel it necessary to even mention. I guess it indicates that vaping is becoming more and more mainstream.

    Best looking Ibtanked on MVP?

The extra capacity is the reason I was originally considering the 22mm. It's a little hard to gauge just from looking at pictures, but if the 22mm is about the width of the MVP, then that wouldn't be bad. I'll probably go with that then. All this indecision over 3mm lol. Thanks for the info.

    I get it now... completely!!!

I was just thinking the same thing the other day. When I was smoking, I never gave any thought to it - just go buy a pack or two of smokes and that was it. Yeah, I changed brands over the years, but really, there isn't a lot of difference between brands. And as far as the cig itself, well it's a...

    Best looking Ibtanked on MVP?

Yeah, I measured my PT and it looks to be about the same size as a 19mm XL. Maybe I'll just start out with that to try it out. I can always get a larger one later if I decide I need one.

    Best looking Ibtanked on MVP?

Is that a standard or XL? I'm planning on getting a 22mm also, was thinking about getting an XL, but I'm not sure if that might be a little tall for the MVP.

From Smoking to Vaping and back to Smoking?

Group 3 now... Was a smoker for 33 years. I tried quitting numerous times - everything from cold turkey,to patches, to gum etc. The longest I was quit was about 2 months, but ended up smoking again. A friend of mine had started using a Blu and talked me into getting one. It wasn't bad, but...

    Does this seem fake?

I thought that was odd too. 31? Why not 30. Or 35. Who orders 31 of anything? Edit: I see now that it's cheaper for 31+, but still...Who orders 31 of anything?

MBV Extra Shots and PG/VG Ratio

I've been vaping MBV juice at 65/35. For my next order, I'm planning on getting 50/50. I'm wondering how much of a flavor difference there will be. For example, at 65/35 and no extra shots, the MBV Spearmint is about perfect for me. Going to 50/50 should I get an extra shot? Some of the other...

    New Calculator to try

Very nice program. The layout is cleaner than most of the others I've tried and I like the inclusion of cost calculation. Thanks for taking the time to, not only create this, but to continue to update it.

    Burned out coils- alternative?

Although it's cheaper to rebuild the heads, they're really not very expensive. You can get a 5-pack from Discount Vapors for about $6. The way I look at it, that's less that what I spent for 1 pack of cigs. One of these days I might get into rebuilding heads, but it's a little too fidgety for me :)

    Another newbie saying Hi

I did the calculations too, and that's pretty much what I came up with - spent about $280/month on cigs and figure about 20-30 bucks on juice, coils and other miscellaneous item. That's a pretty significant savings!
