I dont think steeping would make this flavor go away, only make it stronger.

As you can see, the big bottle is a lighter color than the 2 smaller ones. The lighter color tastes normal but the newer "batch" tastes horrible. Hopefully someone acknowledges this or I'm gonna have to change to a different brand. I'm surprised nobody else is complaining...
