Can you connect you connect the battery negative and out negative to the metal body ??

Kick2 hates my hcigar nemesis starts pulsing all the time, tried fresh 18350, 18500, 18650 batteries. FT kick works fine in it no problems. Kick2 works fine in origin and the caravela. Its not really like the low batt pulsing either it more like short pulse, short pulse, long pulse, short pulse.
