Yup, I'd be dead right now without military insurance. 10k for one month...but my insulin pump and dexcom were completely covered! I did have to fight to see a specialist off post though. Apparently adults can't get type 1 diabetes. (Stupid idiots)

So sorry Enaud, this autoimmune crud really sucks. I feel your pain, I was just diagnosed autoimmune diabetic in January. Trust me, the life changes will soon become second nature. And your bonus is, there are so many gluten free products on the market now!

We went last year in May, but unfortunately had a nasty late winter, so we didn't get to do everything we wanted to. This year snow was gone in March, so everything is cleaned up and pretty. All the hiking trails are open. Hopefully we beat the tourist rush and it won't be packed!

Haha sunburn...I'm in Alaska Darlin'. Not sure that's possible. We're heading up to Alyeska for the weekend. Mountains, hiking, amazing restaurant and spa...I'm so stoked. I'll try to remember to take pictures!

I tried making a reeses pieces juice, but it came out tasting more like those chocolate peanut butter wafer cookies I got as a kid. Still very yummy and in my rotation now.
