Here's mine - 1st attempt on the right. 1590a with panasonic PF 2900mah. I screwed up with the dremel and took a gash out of the black coating on the lid. Now brushed aluminum with a belt sander :).
2nd on the left - 1590B with dual LG HE2's. The first board had an issue and I didn't realize it...
By far the best for the money is below. Several people that I know have this and I've used. Hakko 936 clone...

I filled the fill hole with hot glue as it was all I had around. It leaked out the hole the first time I filled it. Now it works great and I just fill from the top.
I found a video which described flushing out the fill hole to make it hold on a r91. The hcigar hole would never seal like it did...
Mamu, thanks for posting this!
I built mine and got it mostly together. I used a hammond project box, 1590bsbk. Pretty large box but what I needed to fit my Orion 90c 4000mah lipo :). It actually fits pretty well in my hands. I used Lexan for the front case similar to your Milo mod. The ports...
Yah it rocks! After having the ehpro kayfun 3.1 for a day, I immediately went and ordered an aqua clone from congrevape.com. BTW you seen that site yet? Group buys for pretty good prices. I also joined a few facebook groups - 1.1 Group buys and vape trading, and Vape Trading and Group Buys. I...
on my standard milo's mod I was planning on using a similar switch and it didn't fit with a similar(single) battery box as you are using. I ended up using three of the small metal tactiles and was unhappy with it at the time, but love those switches now. For the next build I bought the 1590BS -...
meaning the brass pin in the switch? Go check out a hobby store and look at RC Car axle pins - I think something like these might work but may need to be cut down.

I just used a panasonic pf 2900mah 18650 and moved the screen a bit. It was like $70 in parts, but a pain in the .... Took me 6 hours to build it.

sweet! I haven't tried it with the steel mesh yet - I ordered mesh off ebay from your link. With cotton for whatever reason it doesn't taste as good as either dripper, but I like that it holds so much juice :)
I built a DNA 20d a couple days ago - milo's mod. It freakin' rocks!!!!!
I get 1.9-2.2 ohms with 9/10 wraps of 30g around a 1/16th drill bit. I'm using the RSST as an autodripper with cotton, only partially going into the tank through the wick hole and also through the fill hole. I lost my fill hole cap the 2nd day :). I also drilled out my air hole to 3/32" i...
I have a scar and an igo-w. I've drilled out both a bit (1/16th). The scar has thumbscrews and holes, but draws air in through a single side hole in the base so the draw is fairly tight if you like that. The Igo-w has two holes on either side which were very simple to drill out. Both are very...
yup, completely normal! If it helps at all I've been more consistent building horizontal coils then vertical. The vertical coils seem to be way more hit or miss and are really picky with how much cotton you stuff in.
The evic amp output and watt limit is restricting if you get into rebuilding coils on a RBA or something similar. I almost bought the zmax v5 but ended up going with a vamo v5 based on cost
Torching helps a bunch to get the coil tight. I've rebuilt 10 or so coils and have had a good experience with all of them. I bought a cheap cigar lighter on amazon which works great for $5.
