Imeo, as far as I can see, the best 14500 batteries have a maximum current rating of 4A. If the efficiency of VIR is 90%, does that mean that - translated to Watts - Proteus will be around 15W maximum? Temperature setting X with coil specs Y will always translate to electrical power (Wattage)...

I just re-read about 85% of this entire thread again but... Is there any real research data confirming - or supporting at least - the various claims about the health aspects of wire materials? I mean research done using the wires for actual vaping. Not adding and/or subtracting characteristics...

Off topic but... I have 2 different DNA40s in constant use and they have been flawless since day 1. In TC mode the conductivity (resistance) of the atty + the build needs to be very stable. The current (non J) YiHi chips are not TC so that is apples & oranges. I hope VIR will be less sensitive...

Hi Ariel, Could you please cancel Proteus #0489 on my name? As the wait has taken so long already, my vaping habits/preferences have changed and I don't see much use for a 14500 device anymore.

You're right Imeo, it does work with Ti but very inaccurate. Which is logical as the board calculates with the temp vs. resistance curve from Nickel.

I might have missed some posts but a while ago 'before christmas' was discussed/mentioned for Proteus to ship. Chrismas is now less than a week away. Still no shipping dates known? Or even a picture?... :confused:
