Strange brown coloured stain under the wrap like there is some liquid in there. Is it even possible for these cells to leak near the negative end? This cell has never been stressed at all.

Yep, very similar concept.

It is really quite simple, at the bottom of the 510 you have a fixed part that doesn't move, the juice feeds from the bottle into this part. The positive pin is basically a screw which threads in to the fixed part and you simply turn the pin either way to move the pin up and down.

Most still do but you could design it so it doesn't have to move, take the 510 on the Reo P67 for example.

A manually adjustable 510 would have been better, could have had a full SS juice path to the 510 instead of the silicone tube. I'll probably still get one though once I see some reviews.

Mine had a lot of voltage drop and the switch contacts needed frequent cleaning. I fitted a Moddog 510 with the 999 silver contact plate and then soldered some 999 silver onto the existing positive contact. It hits like a champ now and rarely needs cleaning. The green has held up quite well...

Do the original squeeze bottles or even dripbox bottles work in the Squeeze 2? I'm not a fan of silicone bottles at all.

I wonder what happened to the aurora rainbow, that was going to be my 2nd colour choice but in all the pics I've seen they just look the same as the lava red. Has anyone seen one with the purple like they have in the mock up pics?

Really enjoying mine too, can't see myself using TC so not worried about that. I use mechs most of the time and keep trying a regulated now and then. DNA75 mods just didn't feel right to me and neither did the RSQ but this feels a lot better, must be the quick firing. Still early days though...

Curious myself, might be a good replacement for my dripbox 160. Have held off though as my capo squonk was a leak machine and they dont appear to have changed anything in regards to the 510/bottle setup.

Quite liking mine so far, hits a lot harder than my authentic 2x700 boxer did before I modified it. Really nice feel to the box, even though it looks rough it is quite smooth to the touch. 21700 batteries fit even though it is not advertised as such, have only tested with the IJoy ones but...

1.5mm drill bit fixes that, be careful though as they snap easily, I used a drill press.

Edit: I said the standard SS Narda cap fits but its a no go as it causes resistance to jump around and even a short if you fiddle with it, the plastic Narda cap works nicely on it though.

I'm not having any issue with spit back but I agree, it would have been nice to just have a standard 510 drip tip, just doesn't feel right with it being so short. Good call on the Narda cap, going to give that a try and see if I prefer it.

Ah fair enough, might pick up a couple and see how they go, I've got no problem shortening the pin a bit if needed but that is about the extent of my capabilities. I think the Floris boxes have a bit of extra room too as they seem thicker at the top and they don't have the shelf at the bottom...
