There really isn't any other advice. Use the coils you have, when you're out of them buy BVC. That's pretty much it. They changed from bad to good. BTW, I didn't realize when I typed this but, the help answer is right above your "This is my very first post on the forum" post.

Really as Grimm pointed out and myself (?) The problem should end here. Do NOT buy BDC heads. DO buy BVC heads. 2 year old issue solved. Aspire knew it all along but, neve4r shared the info about the inferior heads. I can't say it enough, replace your heads ONLY with BVC's!!!!

People of Earth! It is quite possible the ISSUE has been resolved!!! BVC heads! Over a week on the same head. Huge vapor and nothing close to a burnt taste. The newer heads is what you want. Make sure it says, BVC. Bottom Vertical Coil!!!

Second. If you're careful, you can bring new life to the heads. I own seven (?) and I did manage to ruin one coil when I pulled the material out. The coil stuck to it as I was pulling it up. Crazy because that very same material is wick I ...-ume? Then I removed it. I don't get it??

WORKED!! so far... I just removed that little piece of fabric and immediately tasted a difference! Taste!! I think that fabric is around the coil to 'protect' it but, it also can burn a little. It's very possible the burnt were in fact, the little piece!! Disclaimer: I am writing this right...
