I found a camera case similar to this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Case-Logic-Compact-Camera-Case-Black/20678992 fits perfectly in my car's cupholder. I used an old can koozy prior to that, but the camera case holds it a bit snugger, but still easy access.

Mine doesn't, either. Use the skinny, 10mm diameter O-ring that (should have?) come with the RM2. That should snug it up enough to make up that 1/4-1/2 difference.
