Know those days where you can't get a build you like?

Lol! I've lost count of the times I've taken an RTA apart, cleaned it, re-coiled and wicked it and it's just terribad. Usually the wicking for me but some of these tiny decks (like the KFL+) don't seem to work great with 2.5mm coils - of course the next time I rebuild it I'll forget what my...

Know those days where you can't get a build you like?

Well today wasn't one of them :D Just re-coiled my Subtank RBA with 26 gauge Kanthal @ 2mm (0.6 ohms) and re-wicked my original KFL+ with 28 gauge SS @ 2mm (0.49) and they're vaping perfectly on my Kbox Mini and Pico. *bliss* (prior to this, my Subtank build was terrible for some unknown...

On stockpiling after FDA deeming regulations

Don't know if they ship to the US, but CremeDeVape here in the UK sells official SvoeMesto spares kits for the KFL+ *Edit* yes, they do international shipping.

Using Toptank Mini+ for regular ohm range ?

To the OP: I've been happily vaping my Subtank Mini @ 1.6 ohms and 16 watts ever since I bought it (a year ago?) with no issues - flavour and vapour production are great. The Toptank is essentially the same tank with only minor differences - you'll be fine.

Just switched to zero nic :)

Aw, shucks  We all do!

Just switched to zero nic :)

Honestly, I think the beauty of vaping is that you don't *have* to work on it. I never set out to go zero-nic but every once in a while when I mixed up a new batch of liquid I'd drop the nic a little - from 18 to 16 - 14 to 12 and so on. I've been vaping at 6mg/ml for several months now and just...

Just switched to zero nic :)

It's been a bloody awful year in general for me but I'm pleased to say the vaping's gone well :D This time last year I was just getting curious about e-cigs and starting to browse ECF. My initial reason for switching was predominantly the cost of smoking - I really enjoyed smoking and despite...

You won't be seeing Baditude posting on ECF in the near future

Take care Bad - I'm not as old as you but not young either and I know what it's like to be living so close to the line - it really grinds you down. I've been staying with friends for 3 years now whilst I've been struggling with depression and trying to get my lapsed business going again and...

Health chief steps down after crude 'e-cig' rant on Twitter

Holy moly! That radio interview with Clive is comedy gold - smoking/nicotine makes you go blind now??? ...???

My good/bad conscience is fighting and I don't know who will win.

A couple of months ago I had some (very) bad news which sent me spiralling back into depression - I stopped vaping altogether and smoked 60 cigarettes a day for around a month - at the end of that, with my finances devastated by the cost of smoking I got back into vaping by ordering a new mod...

New claims vaping leads to hard drugs

Hi Nate - I was talking specifically about dependency - after all, there's a huge difference between enjoying a drink now and then and being an alcoholic. Also, I'd be the last one to suggest that someone is 'morally or emotionally defective' for developing a dependency on nicotine, alcohol...

New claims vaping leads to hard drugs

It's not quite that simple - the gateway to *any* dependency is a need - people turn to cigarettes, alcohol, soft and hard drugs because of stress, depression, social isolation - any number of reasons connected to their emotional state and mental health. Some people use nicotine to...

    Kangertech Airflow Control Valve V3

I've used the v1 (very loose) and the v3 (on my Giant) - the v3 airflow is great - very airy draw if you want it and the airflow ring is stiff enough to stay in place most of the time - Kanger's really gotten their s**t together with their latest generation of products (the latest heads seem...

Positive news: WHO E-cigarette criticisms exposed as 'alarmist'

Funnily enough, when I last went to see my GP he asked if I was still smoking - I told him I just vaped now and he was enthusiastic as to the health benefits but did suggest I use caution since "those things blow up"

Any of you guys switch BACK to clearos after using RBAs/RDAs?

Yes - well... sorta :) My latest APV is a Seven-30w v2 (big, heavy 22650 mod) and I was running a genuine Kayfun on it but I've since gotten an AeroTank Giant because: a) it looks boss sat on top of the 7-30w b) I was getting a little fed up of inconsistent wicking on my Kayfun I still use...

Positive news: WHO E-cigarette criticisms exposed as 'alarmist'

Don't for a second think that the situation in the UK hasn't been equally fraught. If there's a reason or reasons that vaping is seeming more accepted in government here, I attribute it to the following: 1) Independent studies being performed by respected universities and scientists/doctors...

"Truth" people want this to be the "generation that ends smoking"

I'm pretty sure that's going to happen - and personally I think that adding a sin tax on stuff like sodas and junk food isn't a bad idea - no way they'll have the guts to do that though until vaping is regulated and taxed to heck - can you imagine the public outcry if we didn't get taxed but...

The Dangers of E-Cigarettes: Toxic Metals Exposed

Failing that, there's always Vaping Donuts :) Seriously though - I think metals are the least of our problems - I rather suspect that once studies start investigating modern APVs and RBAs we're going to see some nasty stuff coming out of burning KGD/cotton/hemp/rayon - admittedly not every puff...

"Truth" people want this to be the "generation that ends smoking"

Haven't watched the vid (sorry :)) but the assertion is bogus - whilst there's plenty of soundbites out there from anti-tobacco types, the truth is that their jobs are reliant on smokers - eradicate smoking and they're out of work - that's not even touching the whole tax revenue thing. What...
