    my protege and V2 switch.....

Glad to hear all you folks have been so lucky! Same here for the Prodigy V1 and the original passthrough. Prodigy had to go back once for repair, now working well. V2 in the shop now. The best thing is that if you do have a problem the PS folks do go all out to get it fixed.

Bad switch V2.. Thank god for backup device

After weeks of frustration I finally sent my V2 back for repair. None of the "tuning tricks" worked consistently, and finally the thing stopped working totally. At this point I don't know if it's the switch, adapter or some offended diety, but hopefully it can be fixed. So far none of the...

    Question for non purse users

Heck, I carry a bag you might as well call a handbag. You can watch the Highland Games and see huge hairy guys in skirts chucking tree trunks around. Nobody's going to make fun of their attire! I have two married sons so I should have two daughters-in-law right? Nope - one's a son-in-law...

Anyone else like 3.7V more than 5V on their Prodigy?

My current take on PS devices: Prodigy V1 with 18650 and no resistor - still the champ. Protege - shorter battery life but otherwise almost as good. My take along vape. Prodigy V2 - used only occasionally when I want a monster hit. Vape is just too harsh for regular use, even with short...

    Regretfully disappointed...

Sure is - and its a major reason why I send most of my vaping cash to Hendersonville!

    Prodigy V1 compared to V2

The threads on the V1 have to be kept scrupulously clean to get full power. I clean mine every two weeks or so. Given that the comparison with the V2 is very close. Changing atomizers can make a larger difference. Where the V2 excels is in the beautiful fit and finish. It's obvious that a lot...

    It's here - Prodigy V2!

V2 arrived today. Look and feel are great! Vape is full, warm and strong, perhaps a tad more so than the V1. Flavors come through fully, including the more delicate ones. Switch works every time with minimal effort. I've tried all the different types of 801 atty I have. All fit, all work...

    Protege charger broke, Help!

Same story here. Right side green light was always dim. No sounds, and both sides charge, with 14500 or 18650.

the "i just ordered my v2" thread

Same here, SKYYcamel! (I'm 23839) Last night I caught myself with the V1 in one hand ,the Protege in the other and the PT within easy reach. Didn't know which one to suck on first. Well, I did have a skinful of Beaujolais at the time...

    Prodigy V2 now available?!?!??

Looks like someone was working on adding the V2 to the site, got partially done and uploaded the new source pages prematurely. I did that once and got a storm of emails from several hundred irate corporate apparatchiks, .....ing like only ...... off lawyers can ...... Not funny then, but gives...

I tried to set my car on fire today....

Thanks for the idea but I've become entirely too lazy to mess around on that level. I sent the whole thing to Casey; let the experts fix it up!

I tried to set my car on fire today....

When my Protege switch seemed stuck in the "on" position, I removed the switch assembly and tested it with an ohmmeter. It was definitely on. It still is (ticket submitted). I pushed the button in with the ohmmeter attached (a nice juggling act). It felt normal but made no difference. There...

Anyone Get Their PS USBpass V2 Yet ?!?!?!

I have the old PT and I have added a .47 ohm 2 watt resistor to bring it down a bit. Now its just a bit punchier than the Prodigy at 3.7 volts. I just cut the red wire, soldered in the resistor, taped it up and stuffed it all back in the tube. It's just right for me now. I don't know if there...

PureSmoker V1 Owners -- The Day Of Reckoning ...

I use my Prodigy at both 3.7 and 5 volts as the whim takes me, so I will be getting a switch for each. Collecting this stuff is SO much cheaper than antique audio or mandolins, I'm saving a bundle!

Stock Update: Mechanical Switches -- Protege USB Extensions

PRODIGY: Stick With The Old OR Go With The New ???

I voted to keep the old Prodigy with the 3.7-5v option. I use both as the mood strikes me and depending on what juice I favor at the moment. However I'm certainly not opposed to improvements. Moving to SS would be a nice thing, better threads and the classier looks of the Protege. I would buy...

    Prodigy V1 - NEW VERSION -

I'm a bit disappointed by the current description of the V2. I love the way the Prodigy vapes at 3.7 volts, and the way the 18650 batteries last for more than 2 days. That was the original Prodigy concept and it was right on. Now I hear that the V2 will be too small to take the 18650. Yes, I...

    Super critical important questions

I got mine! Since I didn't have to wait to charge batteries (it was sunny out) I fired it right up. The juice I used was CashCap but it tasted like barbecued goat! When the huge cloud of vapor cleared I was standing on this funny spiral sidewalk made of alternating yellow and red bricks. There...
