    Joyetech Cuboid 150 watt

I concur on the poor battery life, both in power mode (low-ish wattage around 30) and Temp. mode. I have used new Samsungs and new Sony VT4's, little or no difference. I Make it to around 6-7PM, about one 3.5ml. tank. My single battery DNA40 squonker is much better with a single 18650 at about...

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

Try turning up the temp anyway. If it's not crazy high, that will simply get the coil up to temp as quickly as possible before the control kicks in. I think it does depend a large part on the mod and the way the chips are "coded". The original DNA 40- TC I use works the best by far with NI200...

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

You may be right about Joyetech and their TC mods, but I am much happier now with the very useful coefficient setting capability. Also, I have never been happy with SS in two different TC mods. I just don't think its resistance changing capabilities are well suited for TC. I could never get it...

    My experience with provari

I had a Provari V2 a while back, my first "premium" VV mod. I remember that there is a "beauty ring" type piece that can be purchased for the top ring to make it even up with 22mm attys. That always bothered me too, but it looks great with that piece. link below for the V3: ProVari 3 Beauty Ring

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

Got it working very well. Here's what I did (for Titanium)- Set one of the three memory positions for a coefficient for .041. Set temperature around 450-480. Keeps firing well now.

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

Thanks for the reply! I switched to Titanium and built two near perfect coils, firing evenly, .20 ohms, wicked as good as possible following several videos. On TC, it is just anemic, weak hits. In power mode, (38 watts), it's not bad. But I don't have the same issues on my smy60 TC mini, which...

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

Actually to be more clear I mean it "works" (kind of) when I set it to plain power mode, but low wattage- around 30 watts. In TC, I've tried anywhere from 300-450F and it gives an anemic hit then cuts out to "temperature protection". I just did the update and it seems to work a little better...

Cuboid 150 w/ SS dual coil problem

Hi all, Just received the Cuboid 150 yesterday. Also picked up a Griffen RTA to take advantage of some of that power. Built a dual 26g. SS- 316 coil setup, TC, measuring about .34 ohms. The problem is the Cuboid output is anemic and within a few seconds of firing it is hitting it's temperature...

    Lost Vape/Efusion DNA200 squonker?

I'm really starting to get into DNA squonkers, love the power and consistent vape over my Reo's and other mech type squonkers. Think the industry needs to produce more, most VV mods are made by small artisan types but are beautiful (and often hard to get.) Bring them on!

Sort of off topic - atties

This used to be such a nice forum- and most all are still helpful and informative- but very occasionally one does not deserve a response. My fault for responding and going even more off topic then "resident knucklehead". Thanks for hijacking my thread. I apologize for my error. I'm outta this...

Sort of off topic - atties

Nobody called Rob a crook, Geez! (your insinuation)- I know you hang out in his forum a lot, but Wow! I'm a customer of his although I've moved on to mostly non- mech and temp control squonkers, I still use my three REO's often. I said *supply and demand*- I've been a businessman for 40 years, I...

I'm taking a look at the options for that right now. Thanks for the suggestion! I guess I always thought the Origen was a 22mm atty...

Sort of off topic - atties

I respect your opinion and I may need to do that.. Right now, it's obviously supply and demand. Last year when it was available it was a $10.00 atty. It's still a Chinese atty, and posts break, the ceramic deck cracks, 510's fail, etc. It's happened to me twice now. But it's my favorite atty.

I understand, I bought my first REO three years ago. But it's a $10.00 atty with a hole in it.

Sort of off topic - atties

Thanks for the info, inswva! I heard something before re: Triangle, but came up empty. So you are probably correct. Perhaps Rob is sitting on the last of them and that is why they are so pricey? There is a real shortage of decent 14-16mm 2- post attys, my favorite for my BF devices- I've tried...

Sort of off topic - atties

Anyone know what the "real" version of the Reomizer 2 is? I love it, ceramic deck, great flavor, small, simple 2 post build, no "O" rings to wear out or leak. I need some backups, and $45.00-$53.00 (brass one) is a lot of money when I can easily do the BF modification. I have looked everywhere!

RDA New squonk atty - Tobeco Torque

Thank You, inswva! Angelcigs appears to be out of Hong Kong (unless they have a U.S. warehouse?) But the other is good.

RDA New squonk atty - Tobeco Torque

I can only find a couple of Chinese vendors (although the price is good at $18.99) Where are you finding them in the U.S.?

    Wife keeps having issues!

If I understand correctly, the base of the atty is getting stuck on the mod itself, correct? Try putting a drop of juice on your fingertip and rub it on the base of the atty and possibly the threads as well. May act as a lubricant without adding any chemicals or off taste to your vape. It's...
