Mine is the same way. You have to estimate how much does it take to turn down the chimney when the top cap goes on and then loosen it just a bit before that. Even if you do turn it all the way down with the top cap, just loosen the top cap a bit till you see bubbles come up from the channels...

Have you tried not screwing the chimney (the part that has the orchid on it) all the way? I've also found that the less wick is more on the Orchid V2 really is true.

I still use my Pro-Tank 2 and my T3S on my MVP for just my on the go/car vape. I use my RDAs at home only or at work. I had a crappy Kayfun clone that I used to use but I got fed up with it so I'm looking for a new RTA but I love my T3S and my ProTank just for the ease of use.
