Yes, Black Fire at 1% is nice smokey flavor, with VT nic it's really good stand alone. Perique, I haven't had any desire to go above 1.5 :)

Hi :) I haven't done much with 7 Leaves. I did 2% when I first mixed it and thought it was good but it just didn't interest me much. Later I remixed it at 4% and liked it better, the Perique is more upfront. Haven't had time to do much mixing lately, still have several tobaccos sitting here...

My last batch I did 5% and I agree it's a little lite. I added 2% FA Banana and it gave it a really natural taste. I like the Rum idea, I'm gonna have to try some. :toast:

Update, at about one week my uncooked English Blend is fantastic. It's well blended and super smooth but... it's not as flavorful as the cooked batch. My uncooked Maxx Blend is really good at this point also. My conclusion(possibly premature) is, if you don't mind waiting a week, heat steeping...

I really like it. To me seems authentic and it kinda has the 'slick' texture of real meringue. It also works well as a sweetener.

I'm no expert but I usually will use 0.5% increments. It seems easy to miss/skip-over the sweet spot with FA flavors.

Unless I really needed new hardware, I would go for the flavors :) I've kinda lost my fascination for shiny things(for now).
