Just realized this month is 4 years for us. Rayon since the first thread on it.
I gave up trying to convert anyone to vaping or rayon. Both work for me and that's all I care about.
3mm is too large in my experience. Not enough room around the outside for air flow and large diameter allows to much juice flow. Assuming a horizontal coil in the RBA. I use 2.5mm in mine. But I also have 1.2 ohm at 23 watts. Gurgling usually requires more watts.
SS (316L anyway) goes up when heated if dry. My STM RBAs show around 1.2 cool/wet and go up to 1.3 or 1.4 while vaping. If your mod allows you to lock in the resistance that should help.
You didn't mention your mix so I will tell you about mine. I started having mouth problems like a chemical burn. End of story I started mixing my own VG and distilled water. 10ml of 60mg nic in VG, 10 ml of DW and 80ml of VG for a 100ml of 6mg 90/10 unflavored. I have also used menthol crystals...
I do a horizontal 2.5mm coil and hold the rayon wick tips up like rabbit ears. Slide the topless cover over the tips and secure the cover. Cut the tips just above the edge of the cover. Using a small screwdriver I push about half the wick down in the bottom and then push the rest down on that...
With all the 4th weekend discounts I was tempted to get a Captain but decided the size and weight would get to me after a while. Stopped following threads here.
Still haven't seen anyone announcing these.
I don't care about TC and suppose that others feel the same. But I perceive that it costs more to make a TC mod than non TC. This looks like a nice device. I little heavy maybe. A starting point to move to 20700.
I don't understand the $70-80 retail price point. You get a $20 tank, $20 worth of...
Watched the video review. I like that he showed some websites that have pre-order and prices so we have an idea what to expect. Also liked that he built the rba.
I've been very happy with my Kbox minis for over a year and a half. Good size for my hand and rounded on both ends. A lot of the new...
Tenths of a volt are roughly .5 watts which is why they did it that way back then. Tenths of watts aren't enough of a difference IMO to notice a change in vapor.
