The Nano is flush on the sides. On the front I'd estimate it overhangs by .1MM which is practically nothing. You can only notice it if you're looking really hard.

I've filed down the screw a bit and I haven't had the hot button. But the battery is loose inside and jiggles a lot. Hopefully this has solved it. Thanks everyone for the info.
