40 years. Towards the end I was 3 packs a day. (They got too pricey so I switched to some generics).
6 years vaping now. Currently about 2.5ml/day. (I vape at a blistering 11 watts! :w00t:). Just finished a 300 mile wilderness hike over the summer. I'd have died on that trail 10 years ago. I...
Provape just couldn't compete with $19 iSticks and 200 watt juice boilers. Pbusardo has a video of their factory. They looked to be geared up for massive distribution and I suppose they just couldn't handle the industry transition that China seized on.
I have 6 assorted Provaris. Good, solid...
Not me. They had a really well thought out juice line but it was way too pricey. Not really economical for this new age of 100 watt, 30 mil/day user base.
I've got peeps in Kansas City KS. 5 cents... 20 cents... doesn't matter. They just cross the river and get it cheaper in Missouri anyway.
Brownback/Kansas has done more to boost Missouri's economy than anyone currently legislating there. :)
All this does is reinforce ANTZ tactics.
"See? What we're doing is working brilliantly! Let's peddle some more junk science until the evil e-cig is a thing of the past. Those that continue to use tobacco will die off soon enough."
My doc of 20 years did the same thing a while back. I called her bluff by giving her a summary of PG, VG, flavoring, "popcorn lung", and debunked that silly-assed formaldehyde test. I asked her what her opinion is based on and what she had read on the subject? She didn't want to admit her...
I say again, the FDA is out of this now - has been for some time. Damage was done when the deeming became law. We can harp all about the change in leadership but it's too late.
Congress is a forgone conclusion. It's all about the D's and R's. If the R's want it... the D's will fight it...
"The delays are actually due to the trial brought on by the Cigar Association of America (CAA), Cigar Rights of America (CRA) and the International Premium Cigar & Pipes Retailers Association (IPCPR)."
Seems the cigar suits have a bit more clout than those set in motion by the vaping industry...
Just shows you can only rely on yourself. Go ahead and cough up the money for DIY flavoring. I probably bought $100 worth initially and wasted most of it. Finally found something to replace all my pricey vendors. $12/liter is quite doable.
I suppose. But Judge Leon was eventually overturned and the FDA won anyway:
Appeals court upholds FDA's right to use menthol cigarettes report
And keep in mind, Leon suggested that the FDA regulate e-cigs as "tobacco" back in 2010.
And here we are. :)
Another UK study. I fear all the "facts" in the world won't help us here in the USA. (Hidden agendas and all that...)
Why Vaping is Safer in the UK than in the US
I agree and I've said as much. Even though we now have a more anti-regulatory political structure, there are only so many legislative days in the calendar and much they want to do. Health care and Tax Reform will dominate that calendar before mid-term election groveling begins. Throw in copious...
Same here. Especially when those regulations are supposedly tied to congressional authority (The TCA). Then we'll have the judiciary weighing in and it'll be a [edited].
Perhaps Putin can fix it all for us?
While I feel the EPA needs an overhaul, some form of environmental oversight is a must. Enough to keep corporate temptation to cut ecological corners to a minimum at least.
I'm old enough to remember when there weren't any notable checks and balances.
I hatez them thar wide open thingies myself.
I bought a bushel of these. Made for mouth-to-lung (if that's your spouse's thing). Every tank I get the drip tip it comes with is the first thing to get chucked into the garbage.
Of course just about every supplier sells drip tips with narrow bore.
Never the same for me. After all these years that's the one thing I miss; coffee and a real smoke.
But whatever... with the savings I think I've put one kid through college and kept Mrs. Kodiak's closet fully stocked with the latest fashions.
