maybe be it's just me but IMO those coils look like crap. My guess would be your getting hot spots. Wrap some new coils and dry burn them to make sure they heat up from the center to the outside with no spots. Also build them tight together without overlapping wraps as it will cause a short...

Considering you can get the PF for the same price as the B on amazon or even ebay why not just buy the PF to be safe and have a more versatile battery. It can be safely used in other devices that the B just won't cut it.

I have found that the pro tank coils need to be dry burnt before using and soak the wicks before putting the chimney back on. Before I started doing this they seemed to crud up and tasted burnt shortly after they were put in.

I'm rocking a pro tank 2 on my vamo v5 now and love it.

I really don't know exactly what I'm looking for. Basically I'm tired of filling my tanks to taste juice just to find out it sucks and I need to clean the tank again. Trying to make tasting easier and a little less of a chore. I think something rebuildable would be good as I like to toy around...
