Well, yes. But what if you were to take say, a 3 inch piece of cotton, run it through the coil like normal, but then run it through the fill hole in the genny? That's my question. :vapor:

Yeah, I think ill just try to find a decent hybrid mod with a genny style tank on it. But do you HAVE to use a mesh wick? i was kind of thinking a couple of micros with a bit of cotton that would fill the deck and one piece that would reach through the filler hole into the tank. any thoughts?

What if someone were to wrap up a standard coil but make it to where one or more wicks are going down to the reservoir? Would that help at all? I guess a better question would be could you take the tank off and fill it the same way you would a protank, and have a wick going through, down into...

Ok. I found out that the pt3 head i was using was/is messed up. I think perhaps one of coil wraps inside is messed up somehow which provides me with a 6.7 res. Cleaned the clearo and swapped out the coil with a new one @ 2.2 ohms and now it's fantastic!

Yep. Sure enough. New coil has 2.2 ohm resistance. Tyvm!

Yeah, I kind of figured there was something wrong with it. And after a little bit of research I did find that, though the threads fit the same, the seal isn't there. For now I have been using my pt2 with pt2 coils (obviously :P). I'll clean out and switch the head on my pt3 and see what happens.
