    I don't think the coils were ever a problem? Though, there is a big difference between the Atlantis coils and the Triton coils, at least in the .3 and .5 (technically .4 for Triton) range. The Atlanis uses kanthal where the Triton uses stainless steel. That's actually a pretty big difference...

    @chefduce: some USB passthroughs have batteries in them, that would drop the voltage down to 3.7. Can you use the USB passthrough while its not plugged in? If you can, its def not 5v.
