NCR? I'm not familiar with that kind of battery, is it protected? I don't really know much about batteries, hence sticking with what joyetech provides and recommends for the evic, and an AW IMR 18350 which had many recommendations for use in the evic with the short tube. Looking at the stats on...

Would you advise I use IMR batteries in my evic rather than the samsung ICR that came with it or the 3400mah panasonic that they sell as an upgrade? I know its something people debate, just looking for input.

Thanks for the tips, it was squished and I adjusted it a little, put it on, and got much better airflow. Then, I tried taking another drag and 'pop' followed by no vapor and my evic reading 'atomizer short'. I took the coil apart and it had popped/broken. Oh well, I guess I'll pick up some PT3...

Well, my order from kangertechus.com arrived today, an evod 2 and a protank airflow controller. The airflow controller is pretty much just an aerotank base, and using it on a protank 2 works as expected. The news here is the evod 2, which I haven't seen for sale anywhere besides the kangertech...

It looks as though Kanger is also selling the aerotank base on its own as the 'airflow controller for protank 1 2 and 3', I ordered one along with the evod 2 to try out on my protank 2. Now I get to have the controllable airflow without having to use dual coil heads :)

The purple and green do look pretty sharp, in my opinion. I wish they would make a deep blue one though.
