Thank you both! Your answers make sense. He actually is leaving the hearing aids resting in his ear, outside of his ear canal. But he is 88 and simply doesn’t want discomfort ever. Can’t say I blame him.
I read that if you don’t have the hearing aids properly inserted, that you can get feedback - that high screeching. Have either of you experienced that @Nermal or @DavidOH
Good point. Makes sense too. Now hopefully he can get used to the feeling of pressure in his ears because these new ones fit so well. Hearing aids are rough - it’s no walk in the park to get used to them.
Question for @DavidOH about Costco hearing aid 4 - 6 month cleaning service. Do you use it or happen to know how much they charge? Is it worth doing?
Someone I know just bought hearing aids through Costco. The cleaning service was mentioned at a follow up appt but they don’t know whether it’s...
Same here except the green is gone by end of May when there’s no more rain. Even in PA I had 3 acres of green - all weeds. Meh. Why fight a losing battle like that when there’s plenty of other losing battles to fight? ;)

This is Fox Meowlder and she lives somewhere here in Los Angeles. This is her recovering from an adventure.
Yesterday she was very naughty. She spent 15 - 20 hours like this:
The fire dept couldn’t help because of the power. The power company said they no longer do these rescues. Because...
Today marked the end of my winter garden. Of several broccoli plants I got this one stalk. At least it’s tasty!
Got about 4 heads of red sails lettuce. So it’s my late lunch. :thumb:
His markings suggest Siamese lineage. I looked it up because I couldn’t remember that it’s called point coloration. I saw a photo of a “Traditional seal point Thai cat” that looks a lot like Nosy. Described as having “round head and bulky body.”
“Steel drum with legs” - what a great image! You missed your calling. You could have been a writer. You’re a good storyteller.
Edit to add: No. Punching. Whiskey. We will know if you do!
