closing old threads with new posts

Old threads are closed, not deleted. You can still see the old threads. They also appear in search engines. But you just cannot post in them, mostly because a lot of the older stuff is outdated for the products and techniques of today.

Judge dismisses Thompson Hine lawsuit against Smoking Everywhere

I don't know about that. We need the huge companies to represent our interests, if laws are passed disallowing sale, distribution, or even use indoors, it hurts their sales. With the US suppliers not really doing anything to get some sort of union or organisation together to represent the...

    Commiserating with Ripple

Send me a brief pm saying what problems you are having, what version of ie you are running, what version of of windows you are running. I am guessing you regularly do updates through windows update, also through flash, java, etc. I'm leaving this thread now to stop bothering the lovely group...

    Commiserating with Ripple

OK. *smack*. I just don't like ie because once you get into the operations side of sites, servers and pc's you realise that a company as big as Microsoft should be the industry leaders, but instead they are dragging everyone behind. It's no fault of yours that they are useless. If you really...

    Commiserating with Ripple

Dude come on. I said we would see what the coders said. I also said that there are other options if you do not want to wait until the coders look at it. They might not even be able to fix it. You might also note that in the thread someone posted an addon for ie that does spell checking. We...

What I should have said is there are no guarantees on if it can be fixed or not. It could be simple, it could be very complex. Roly will pass it on and we will see what the coders say. However, we have given you options on how to easily resolve this issue, it's up to you whether you want to be...

    No spell checker??

look the problem, as roly was saying, is ie is so far behind that we would be taking 6 steps back, and it'd make it not function for every other browser. I can't see it being fixed for ie. Theres just too many negatives to even start.

    No spell checker??

Forget about how much you may like something and decide if you want functionality or not? Try opera, like what roly was saying? Try chrome?

    No spell checker??

Firefox has the option to import all settings from ie. Seriously, give it a go. Plus, there area lot of addons such as adblock plus which are really good.

over 1 year and still no vet

And the reason for this is it stops idle accounts with a few posts from getting access to the vets forum. It'd be unfair. Get a few more posts and send me a pm. I'll see what i can do.
