thanks! i found a metal washer that just fit in the housing- had to squeeze it in with channel locks. then spread a little jb weld around the slight bevel between the washer and the housing for good measure. blue is engine spray paint i brushed on to make it look pretty.

finally got around to making a flashlight mod. the flashlight i used is almost identical to the ones bastage used. been using it for a week and have been really happy with the 900mah 14500 batteries. it definitely is more practical than my first (cordless telephone) mod. lol thanks...

i'm curious about that. it says w/switch.... guessing the switch part means that it diverts power when it's male counterpart is plugged in. i.e. the device is running on battery until plugged in then power is diverted to that power source. as long as the outer threaded part is thin...

i don't think i saw this mentioned...the apc pack comes with a 5v 1.0a usb wall adapter for charging. i assume the passthrough would work plugged into it. anyone try that?
