Stanford occasionally runs out of CPU Work Units and that results in a failure to get a new assignment. If you open Folding@Home Client Advanced Control/Log/Warnings and Errors there will be a time stamped entry associated with this event. Filter the results for Slot 0 (typical CPU slot) to...
I'm running 359.00 with that card and it is stable for me. I keep a copy of 347.88 as a fall back which also worked great. I've read a bunch of posts at the folding forums sponsored by EVGA, Amandtech, and Nvidia and expert users (power folders) suggest that driver updates seldom result in...
Unless your Dell machine has a discrete GPU it will net you considerably less PPD then the Alienware machine...probably around one tenth. Keeping the FAH client running with Windows 10 can be problematic due to automatic driver updating but plenty of donors are doing it. I for one tried and had...
1)Welcome to Team ECF suprtrkr! I noticed that your first two completed Work Units showed up on the EOC Stats Page associated with our team. Keep up the good work! Once you have completed 10 eligible projects the points per unit should increase based upon the Quick Return Bonus available and the...
I have been vaping for almost three years and with the exception of a beginner rig that I PIFed to a new vaper, all of my gear (8 mods, 11 toppers) still functions as it did when new.
Core 21 Update:
For those of you who have had difficulties successfully completing Core 21 projects with an Nvidia Maxwell GPU...Stanford withdrew these projects from general circulation a couple of weeks ago due to an unacceptable level of Bad State errors and dumped or failed Work Units. In...
Sorry it took so long to reply...yeah, I built a Z97 based dual GPU (GTX 970's) system for compositing, 3D modeling, and video rendering. I guess that a machine built to perform these functions also is capable of putting up decent folding numbers too.
I'm pretty sure that most core 18 and core 21 projects (GPU) are eligible for quick return bonuses. When one is running on my rig it will show a base credit and an estimated credit. The difference between those two numbers is the QRB.
Good work getting to your one year (+1 month) anniversary. When I used to hang out on the combustible analog forums hardly anybody was congratulated for their achievements...
I'm sure it's been mentioned before on this thread, but it bears repeating: If you are new to folding, or are considering joining Team ECF, be sure and request a passkey and be patient at first. Once you have successfully completed and returned 10 work units when folding with a passkey you will...

I have one (SX Mini) and I think it was well worth the price...it gives me total control over my vaping experience (with the right topper and build) and all other things being equal, probably makes vaping as safe as it currently can be.
First and foremost, I love being free from cigarettes; but I also enjoy discovering new juice flavors, figuring out how to use my equipment to it's maximum potential, and the friendship and sharing of knowledge at places like ECF and the vaping community on Twitter.
I've been using a coil-master for the better part of a year for both Kanthal and Ni200 and I am quite pleased with the results...now I find myself using screwdrivers for screws, drill bits for drilling, and the coil-master for coils.
