Even with the McMaster car cheese head screws I can't get 26 or bigger guage to secure under the electrod screw. Is there a better screw out there?

Stupid me. I followed there instructions on cleaning the contact but all I had was contact cleaner and a bress rod, I really went after it and now they are both working. I hope that does the trick
