    eGo-RS behaving strangely

Set the bottom cap down on a hard surface like it is in your pic. Hold the bottom of the spring down with a knife blade, fingernail file, or what have you, to keep the spring from coming off the little screw on the bottom cap. Stretch the spring so it keeps the battery tight against the...

    Clearomizers similar to esmarts 808

Yes it is metal. You're just too dang picky, loosen up, take a chance, live a little. I'm wondering why you don't like bottom coils.

    Clearomizers similar to esmarts 808

ecigcharleston has bottom coil smok nano 808s for .99 each. They work well for me. What can you lose at that price?

Do you guys like this setup?

You have good taste, it's a good looking rig. Learn to get the best results from it, then you can find many tanks, drippers 'n such that will work with that battery. I rotate between two egos with clearomizers and two egos with drippers every day. I love my egos.

    Ego rda

MattTny <As long as you wick it properly you shouldn't have any leaking problems, but if it does leak you would have more of an issue with this one as opposed to side airflow> I think I'll stay with the side airflow. I don't need any leaking problems, and it defeats the purpose of the glass...

    Ego rda

Thanks MattyTny I appreciate all the good info. I've been using the little aluminum smok rda for a year or so, and it does a pretty good job. I use 32g kanthal with 6 rounds on a 1/16" drill shank, and it normally comes out to 1.8-2.2 ohms. I like the looks of the a7 rda. I've never tried...

    Ego rda

I'm looking for a glass rda to use with my ego type batteries, but all I'm finding are 22mm or larger. Does anyone know of one that's 18mm or smaller? Thanks Smitty

Your number 1 non-health benefit to vaping?

I'll have to go along with the "smell" folks. After nearly 50 years of smoking, I didn't realize how bad my clothes smelled until my 43 year old son pointed it out to me. I haven't smoked a cigarette in over 8 months, but my wife still smokes, and fresh cig smoke still smells kinda good to me...

    Batteries for mini

Thank you guys for the input. I appreciate it! Would there be any advantage to going with the 14650 950mAh bats?

    Batteries for mini

No, No, No, I'm not going to sub-ohm, I wrap coils for my mini pt and drippers at 1.8-2.2. That's 6 wraps around a 1/16 drill shank using Kanthal 32ga. Five wraps gives me about 1.5, and I was wondering if that's too low for a 14500 battery.

    Batteries for mini

I need to know which 14500/14650 batteries to use for a mini nemesis, what type, brand, protected or non-protected. Also what ohm range should I stay in that won't damage the batteries? Should I use flat top or button? Thanks Smitty

    I like my eGo batteries

Welcome tirpider, and congratulations on the 3 months!! I like my eGos too. I rebuild my mini pts and drippers and I really enjoy doing that. I use kanthal 32ga and kitchen twine for the mini pt, and cotton for the drippers. Smitty
