I have an older SS clone SMPL. And it's great. The only issue I have with it is the switch being inconsistent from time to time.
I tried out the SMPL+ - a friend managed to snag one when the getting was good. That switch is perfect.
One day, I will figure out how to get my hands on one. One day.
Amazing that they have this in stock. Hard to believe they have the Copper one!
usually, the copper ones go quicker.
I wish Epic would respond. Would love to get a media blasted SS with the SMPL+ button.
Although, a SS SMPL+ is the quest. It's like trying to find the holy grail, lol.
Really want to get one of these bad boys. Simply cannot find one. I even contacted Epic Designs directly to no response.
The Stainless one in particular.
Throwing this out here in case someone happens to know of a place that has them. I can't find one anywhere. So frustrating.
Question. Recently placed an order. First one in a while. Everything was going fine. better than fine actually. Order was placed, processed, and shipped within 3 days. Tracking showed it had arrived in New York 3 days later. Processed through USPS Garden City location.
12 hours later it shows...
This is form the first page, I know. But this is crazy. I walk around with a mech running from .17 to .25 all day every day. And I am very certain this will never happen.
The incident mentioned in this story claims it was just sitting in his pocket. Which means he didn't have it locked, or...
I started with a disposable, it sucked compared to the real thing. I found the lack of smoke to be off putting.
So, I then got an EVOD2 and a vision spinner, and got that thing putting out a decent amount of vapor. (believe it or not, I don't even believe it anymore)
The amount of vapor is...
Ok, I ended up finding it. They were 3d printed custom jobbies. I imagine they can be bought, but it turns out my initial observations weren't exactly right. It is all in one, with an opening on top, but not like I thought I had seen. Although, perhaps my imagination has led me to a cool new idea...
No, It's hard to describe I guess. It was a complete replacement for the top cop of an RDA, it replaced the barrel, the top, everything. The top holes were offset from the center, in a triangle pattern. I never got a good look at the side airflow.
I have a few chuff caps, it was nothing like...
There were a couple guys at a local comp recently. They were using a top cap on their RDA's that I've never seen before and I was curious about it.
Here's what I can recall:
From a distance it looked like the cap of dry erase marker.
It was red plastic.
It had holes directly on the top of...
The SMPL mod is pretty great, I just got a copper one, and it really is simple. Throw an atty on it, drop in a battery, tighten up the button and you're vaping. Keep a coin handy.
Thanks guys, kind of what I figured. I have been having some luck with a sandpaper bit on my drill press. Wish I had a full fledged belt sander though.
