What is the benefit of taking the dual coil to a single coil, besides what I assume to be an easier rebuild?

I put my aero on the wife's MVP while my battery was charging and was actually surprised that it performed as well as it did. MVP is not a bad little device which seems to accept several good tank set-ups.
