This right here. If you can only have one mod, and you want it to be regulated, either of these are a superb choice. They are exactly what I have stocked up on to go with my handful of random mechs.

I have the XTAR Dragon to charge all my cells with, and I've really grown to love the fact that I can set the charge rate all the way down to a half amp. My batteries get charged as slowly as possible, they seem to last longer that way.

I suppose I should clarify that when I say "I did the math," I was looking at using the battery for a mech mod as well. I typically use a 1.3ohm coil, so that ups my wattage in a mech to about 17. But the amps are down in the mid 3s even if my build slightly higher or lower on the ohms. Still...

I don't do DL, so I won't comment on the tank, but as far as the mod goes, you're making a solid decision. You can't go wrong with the Mini or the Solo. I give the Solo an edge over the Mini based solely on the replaceable battery, but both are really, really good.

At home, it has to be my epipemods 18650 Gandalf pipe with a Kayfun Prime and a nice long stem. But since that's not practical for out and about, it's almost always an Aegis Mini with an original Berserker on top. And of course, always home brewed juice!

I know nothing of the Falcon 2 as I don't sub-ohm. However, I will say that the Aegis Solo is as good as they say it is. Hands down. You made a good choice on that part of things.

I vape around 12-13 watts as well. I tend to use Samsung 25r, but not because of battery performance or anything, it's mostly because they provide the amps I need with a good, reliable, and affordable battery.

While you have received a lot of good suggestions in this thread, Kayfun Prime clones can be had for $10-20, and they are in my opinion the best true MTL RTA out there. No one has mentioned the VandyVape Berserker either, and that's another one that I would highly recommend. But seriously...

I have three of them, and they rotate as my going out mods. Top them off with a Berserker and have no fear of anything going wrong if I drop something. Excellent little mod, for sure.

At home I vape almost exclusively on pipe mods with KF Primes. Out and about, it's my Aegis Minis with Berserkers. 1.8 ohms on the regulated, 1.2 on the mechs. And my juice for the moment is a home brewed 12mg dragon fruit juice.
