    What's so great about Provaris?

At least according to the scope traces, the Provari has the flattest output of any mod over the entire range of battery life. It is not PWM. It can also output voltage below the battery, something the DNA chipset can't do. And with a price of $130 for a blem, possibly a bit lower for a used...

    E-cigarette smokers Insurance

Hmm, to paraphrase Groucho Marx "Yes, I quit smoking. Five times a day." Having talked to people who actually know, like respiratory therapists, insurance adjusters, etc ... um, no, unless you're an extremely heavy smoker or use a lot of chewing tobacco, it's nearly impossible to distinguish...

    Alice in Vapeland juices???

The thing with AiV is most of their flavors have a peculiar buttery cast to them. For a pastry it's awesome. Like Twas Brillig. For a fruit, like Mystic Mandoline, not so much. But this is my take on it. I'm currently trying to track down the source of that odd flavor and I think I have it...

    Official ProVari 3 Thread - P3

I'm not as worried about the B&M owners as the people who go into places, buy up all the stock and then flip it. Me, unless PROVAPE decides to do something for the customers who are going to use the device pretty soon, I'm making a regulated bottom feeder.

If it really were about this, I'd have my wife get one from Vape Dojo. (They have great prices and from talking with some of their folks, seem really cool.) Not that I'd be likely to actually get the thing once she tried it! That was the primary reason I was looking at getting a P3 and wanted it...

Didn't know that. Thanks. Mostly I refer to Apple's practice of charging, "extra for the lice, ten percent for looking in the mirror twice" to quote "Master of the House". I just remember the release of the original iPhone and they cost a fortune due to all the flippers reselling them at...

Heh. The nearest Provari dealer is literally over 100 miles away in another state. If they actually get any stock for regular customers, well, I doubt it. I've seen this happen way too often with limited run items. A handful of speculators buy up all the stock and then you see them on eBay for...

    Official ProVari 3 Thread - P3

My complaint is how much they get marked up, not the Provape price. I have bought some very expensive toys, like the Samsung 12" Note when it came out, for full price. It's rare, but if I really like a product, I'll do it. But when the standard markup is 2 to 3 TIMES the MSRP, no. I'll wait...

    Help finding a juice flavor

If you Google shisha blueberry e juice you'll get a ton of options. Most of them are really, really cheap and I'm guessing the Hangsen or Dekang is what they use. And if you're really, really patient, just order one of each from Fasttech. They're definitely cheap enough to try.

I actually like the diamonds. If I weren't pretty much sure those betas would be thousands of dollars, I'd love to have one. Just because of the look. Maybe if I win the lottery. ;) Because while I think the new P3 looks great, I'm not spending $500+ on a 20W device, and that's my guess for...

opinions on the MVP 2 for a newbie

Great basic battery. For the price, I don't think there's anything else even close. Sure there are higher power devices, replaceable battery devices, more reliable devices (probably only the Provari and mechs), etc ... but not at $40. That's less than some B&M's charge for a spinner! It's also...

Wrapping my head around VV VW

Two ways. 1) Used by Provari, MVP2, vv3, DNAx0 and SX3x0. They actually increase the voltage. They do this with a special electrical engineering circuit called a buck boost converterhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck%E2%80%93boost_converter. 2) More commonly used is what's called RMS...

Is a REO or PROVARI really THAT good? 3rd 'smoke FREE' anniversary coming up!

Depends. Are you really into dripping or simplicity? I have a Provari and love it. It does its job. (Engineer speak for "WOW!!!! Exactly on spec, not over, not under, no fuss, bother or worries. Absolutely fantastic design with no drawbacks.") Especially if you like the MVP2, it's a dream...

    Analog Pack a Day-Need Help Picking a E-Cig

The juice has nicotine in it. You select the strength when you order it. Most moderate smokers start at 12mg. (which is what I use) My wife, who was a heavy smoker, vapes 24 mg. Some people who didn't smoke much at all use 6 mg. The higher the nicotine, the stronger the throat hit, on average...

    Analog Pack a Day-Need Help Picking a E-Cig

Actually it's really not that big. It's considerably narrower than a pack of regular cigarettes. Probably the most standard way I could describe it is about the same height, depth and mass as a pack of playing cards and about 2/3 the width. (I'd trained as a blackjack dealer, so I'm very...

More the opposite. We still have smoking, so vaping while very popular, doesn't have quite as much push here. That and we measure distances in hours, not miles. We have one place 'looking into' becoming a Provape dealer but their markups are downright terrifying. Unless Provape does something...

Now if we could get a bluetooth interface to the ARM chip ... ;) Just kidding! Hmmm, given that it's at least a 3-4 hour drive each way to my nearest Provape dealer, um, not liking the dealer only thing. Not at all. Especially not with the massive markups most dealers put on things when...

    Inexpensive but dependable box mod?

I have an MVP2, vv3 and a Provari. Love all three, and they all do different things. MVP2 is cheap and the charge is insane. vv3 is tiny. Provari is my work horse. But, while I have a couple of RDAs and a Kayfun, my go to tanks are my 'herd' of protanks (and one Aerotank). My mini protanks...

    Mini Protank 3 Issue

It is possible and there are lots of videos on how to do it, but I'm a wuss. I'm going to do singles first. Of course I also use old protank 2 heads in my protank 3's. Work just fine. (PT2 heads are single coil.) However, PT2 heads do not work in the Kanger Aerotank. They flood horribly.

    Mini Protank 3 Issue

I'd guess a dud coil. I've had a couple. That's why I buy them 5 at a time and one of these days real soon will be rebuilding them.
