Powder coating?? I've been able to do small car rims in a house oven before, I could probably swing by the old car forums and find a tutorial for Powder Coating at home. I'm not sure what it would do to the voltage drop though.

@tbev a lot of those "dipshiz" are probably doing that just to support their favorite Vendor or B&M. If everyone got everything at wholesale pricing, we'd all be screwed. Props to those guys who are willing to toss a couple more bucks to see the industry get better.

I haven't came across too many sawzalls wired for 220, so you should be safe there. Harbor freight has some cheapie sawzalls that would work well for this cause you aren't cutting, so thats not that big of a deal. Now compressed air would be quite legitimate because those ones really bump some...

I would maybe try a clapton coil with the kanthal on the inner and TI on the outer, my thought is that the kanthal's quick reaction to heat would heat the Titanium up a little faster than with just Titanium. Rip Tripper has a great tutorial on building one that I was looking at earlier today.

On that note I have considered grinding the airflow holes off the ego connection to get my devices to seat on it nicely, almost nothing I have actually -uses- those airholes as most have independent airflow controllers on them. My only concern would be excessive heat, but the non-flush fit bugs...
