RDA Infinite CLT V3 vs. Mutation X V3?

The center post on the CLT3 has a tendency to spin unless you tighten the 510 screw completely. That's a dealbreaker, IMO. Also, the juice well isn't very deep compared to the MX or the Troll.

    RDA Flavor chaser RDA!

It really depends on the build. Cloud chasing atomizers by definition require high wattage to get decent flavour out of them and don't work well at lower wattages. I can get excellent flavour out of a Troll or Mutation X, but I have to run it at 80-100W.

    RDA Flavor chaser RDA!

It's 22mm, so the build deck is a bit small due to the inner chamber, but still very workable. Also, it doesn't really support single coil builds due to the airflow setup. Aside from that, it works really well and the flavour is excellent. I'm running a 0.28 ohm build (50-55w) on mine.

If you're getting a Mutation X, make sure you get the V3, since the V2 has those janky triangle grub screws. Also, it's really meant for high wattages--well above 60W. It shines at 80-100W on a regulated box mod.

RDA Help me pick a cheapish RDA

Since you're using a 50W device, I would not recommend the Dark Horse. Actually I wouldn't recommend the Dark Horse anyway. It's leaky and doesn't have very good flavour.

    RDA Flavor chaser RDA!

I'm a big fan of the Youde Jakiro. It's a very cheap China made authentic atty ($21 from Eciggity) with a reduced chamber and a leak resistant design. The main drawback of this atty is the non-adjustable 510 which means it won't work on a hybrid connection. Jakiro RDA by Youde - Eciggity

RDA How safe are copper posts really?

Even if you ignore the safety issues, copper is a very soft metal and the threading in the posts will strip out much faster than stainless steel. There's just too many downsides to having copper posts to justify the small increase in performance.

RDA Troll, how do i love thee

I put a twisted 24 gauge dual coil 3mm @ 0.21 ohms in my Troll and it's running at 100W on my IPV3. Good flavour, awesome vapour production. This is basically everything the Mutation X should have been. Now to get the wide bore drip tip.

    RDA Project Sub-Ohm™ Edition CLT RDA V3 - I Have a Short?

Take it apart completely, including the screw in the 510 connection. Inspect everything very carefully. Sometimes after manufacturing there are shards of metal left over that aren't cleaned out properly that may be causing a short somewhere in the atty.

True or False: Regulated box mods don't need high discharge batteries when sub ohming

The Panasonic 3400 mAh has a 6.8A limit. At 30W your Dovpo is going to be pulling around ~8A, so that battery will NOT be sufficient. If you plan on running at the max wattage you should go with a 10A battery to be safe.

Be careful of Vanilla mod clones

If your Vanilla clone was well made, it would have a reverse threaded locking ring. i.e. you lock the ring in the same direction that you screw the button onto the mod.

Billow RTA by EHPRO & Eciggity

One issue I have found with mine is that when I flip it upside down to refill, most of the juice stays put near the base of the chimney. The problem is that there's not much space between the vapor chamber and the outer glass so thicker e-liquid will just kinda get stuck there due to the surface...

Billow RTA by EHPRO & Eciggity

The Billow is designed for dual coils. You could put a single coil in there, and it will work but that's not really what it's meant for. As a single coil atty, the Lemo is better than the Billow, since the Lemo was designed for a single coil setup. If you prefer dual coils, the Billow is better...

    Lemo Help?

In addition to the resistance of the coil, you also have to take into consideration the mass of the coil and the heat flux. Your ProVari isn't going to be able to push enough wattage to heat up a coil of that mass. At 15 watts, your heat flux is only around 95 mW/mm^2 With 28 gauge wire at the...
